Museum of the Cariboo Chilcotin

The museum has a lot of exhibits and information about the area and its history both indigenous and early settlers as well as information on economic activity.

Excellent place to visit if you're in the William's Lake area. Besides the museum which has some very interesting stuff in it, there is the visitor information centre and a souvenir shop which have very friendly attendants who can answer all of your questions. Plenty of parking for cars, buses and RV's. Easy access from Highway 97.

Very historic place, lot of histories in surrounding area. The best folk tale is that it’s haunted by the children doll on display. Good place to visit

The best visitors museum and information centre!!! The space is very inviting and welcoming art is on display upstairs timeframe July 2019. A photographic walk into history of the area including Indigenous peoples experiences. Very powerful, moving, and emotional.
