Alberni Valley Museum

AVM is a top notch local museum. They have really great collections of local artifacts telling of the rich and diverse history of the Alberni Valley. I especially liked the ugly dolls - they can be forgiven since they were made by an elderly blind man. There's a lot more and it's definitely worth checking out!

Fantastic little museum, and the admission is by donation. The section on native history was particularly good.

Love this community museum! Most of their collection is out so you can see it. Drawers can be pulled open. Great bit of local history. The museum's archives are also located here.

Wonderful place with many great artifacts

I love this museum I've been here a lot and their staff is so nice and u could learn a lot of stuff about the past.💞
