Maybe 5% of customers wearing masks
Absolutely disgusting. Expired sandwich meats in the coolers, expired food on the shelves...nearly half the items we went for were expired...not to mention a DEAD FLY found baked partially inside one of their bakery buns. Legitimately the grossest Safeway I've ever been to, and will 100% not give them another dime of my money for the rest of my stay in Nelson.
Very good shopping experience, safety measures are very well done. My favourite place to go grocery shopping 😊
Friendly, helpful staff. Store was clean and well organized. Pharmacy staff are awesome!
Safeway is pretty consistent, we bought sandwiches to take to the beach. Glad they had masks and hand sanitizer around tho shocking number of people seem to be completely clueless about masks and keeping distance. Guess it's small town knowledge. Glad Safeway gets it.
