Port Clements Historical Soc

Lots of great information about the history of the area. The albums about the famous spruce tree were well done. There was a lot to see in a small space, with several artefacts from different eras. It was a little odd to see items in a 'museum' that I had seen or used in my youth.

We came to later to do the tour of the inside, so this is a review solely based on the equipment on the outside of the building. The outside has a ton of old forestry machinery that had very well laid out, and descriptive plaques explaining what everything was. My partner is in forestry, and I have never seen him so excited about looking around at a museum. He really thrived with the detailed descriptions. He still is telling me random facts that he learned well we were there. I wish we would have been able to go inside, but even without that experience I still highly recommend taking a stop. It is well worth your time.
