Totally unimpressed with the honesty. I went in on October 2nd to purchase 2 recliners. I had them ordered as I wanted a different material. I was informed it would take 4-6 weeks for delivery. I called 5 week later to check on the order. I have been given some interesting responses. 1. The order is on the way from Mississauga 2. They are sitting at the border to go through customs????? (I thought they already were in Canada!) 3. They are on the truck with 50 other items. I’ll call the trucking firm and get them to contact the driver for a location. (I never did get a call back from Rico) 4 They will be here in 10 days 5. They will be here in 2 weeks. 6. They will be here before Christmas. You’re one of the lucky ones! Most orders take SIXTEEN WEEKS. Yours is only 11. (Well they aren’t here yet! So don’t use the word lucky). So here is what really pushed me to really wish I could post a total negative. Today when I called, I asked for an explanation to all these excuses. I was told Covid was causing the delay. Seriously? I specifically asked why none of the excuses lined up. How could they be in Ontario, then later at the border, then back on the truck going to the border. What has that got to do with Covid!!!! Is that the go to excuse these days? Lying is not due to Covid!!!!

I'd give them 0 stars if I could. The following is entirely my opinion. We went to JS Furniture on August 15th intending to purchase a sectional. Ricco Morales sold us the sectional. On our sales contract it was quoted that we would recieve the product 6 to 8 weeks. Keep in mind that this was after COVID19 had started to delay things, that should have played a part in the expected wait time that we were quoted. We waited those weeks, upon hearing nothing (this is going to be a trend), we called in and the receptionist said it would likely not be here until mid december, but that she would get Ricco to call us back. This time Ricco did, and told us that it would be here mid November. Sh-- happens right? So we waited until December 15th. No calls updating us on the progress or anything, we call back, they say that they will get Ricco to call us back, we don't get a phone call. At the end of last week, we go on site and talk to the weekend sales rep that for what ever reason can't log into their manufacturer's website to give us any information, and states that they will get a manager to give us a call next Monday the 15th. He also states that a manager is the only one that can refund our deposit. Guess what, we don't get a call. This wouldn't be so bad if they weren't holding our $407 deposit hostage. We could simply flip them the finger and go our merry way. In my opinion, this store, and its associates (especially Ricco Morales) have acted extremely unprofessionally, and have essentially scammed us out of our money. I understand that your sales contract states that this is non-refundable. However, as you have not delivered the product within the time specified in writing on the sales contract, any reasonable small claims court will clearly see that you have not fulfilled your end of the contract in any way. Do not trust this company your money.

Bought a bed on Aug 2, 2020...when it was delivered we discovered the headboard was missing - found out from the delivery driver...the store didn't think it was important to tell us. I called and a lady said she would get back to me within the hour..no response, I called the next day and she said she would get back to me by the end of the day..no response..I called on Monday and the manager said he would get back to me by Wednesday Aug 12...guess what NO RESPONSE today is Thursday Aug 20 and I called and again they have no clue...I wish I could give them a negative rating.....

Great service and great prices. Rico helped us to find a diningroom set that is good quality for a great price. It looks so good in our home.

I am very disappointed with their service, especially the assistant manager who sold us the LEATHER SOFA for cost of $3300 in August 2016 with insurance from Zucora Home services and told us that this is a genuine leather sofa won't be peeled off. Now it suddenly peeling off and Zucora won't fix it as insurance would not cover when peeling of dye is the cause. When we showed to Zucora technician, he said it is not genuine leather, it is a dye one. We purchased many of the furniture from them and decorative pieces, and recommend many of our friend as they are local business so need to help them. The assistant manager also says he could not help us, saying with full confidence as he don't care about anything. They sold us this sofa by saying it is a genuine leather. So you can imagine how they tricked people. It is better to go big company like Ashley's rather than these low profile shops at-least they fix your stuff when purchase the insurance. Don't go to these guys they are not trust worthy furniture dealers.
