Great value for the money. Lots of rocks. Wish there was more information about local mining history but maybe that's just me 👌🏼

Very well maintained museum with ton of information about rocks, minerals and mining. The staff is superb and their merchandise is cool. They also have an earthquake simulator! The staff is super chill too!! Highly recommended if you're around.

Astonishing place. Not only all the gems and stones that they have in museum, what is even more impressive is the huge open pit mine just next to the museum. Unbelievable how tiny the giant trucks look inside this monster. I found the stones a bit pricey in the museum compared to mines like Sudbury.
