Carthage has quiet places where you could perfectly spend a few hours reading, but for those who prefer the security and convenience of a library, this place is perfect. It has tables for group work, as well as an extensive collection of books. Unlike the National Library, here you can only access books, as they do not have magazines, newspapers or historical documents. The cleanliness is impeccable, with ample bathrooms adapted for people with reduced mobility, in addition the kind treatment of the personnel generates a very positive atmosphere. The only negative point is the arrangement of the work tables, since they are far from the electrical outlets, so it turns out to be a point against if you want to work with computers or other electronic equipment. As an important point, THE ENTRANCE IS ON THE EASTERN SIDE, it took me a while to find it.

This place should have two computer areas, one for the courses and the other for the public to use their computers according to the demand and importance for the user.

The place is excellent but that disabled parking is used by employees, the truth is not right ... My wife is disabled and we were parking when a library worker gets out of the annoying car because we park in the parking lot of the law 7600 claiming that it is parking for library employees. Only for this is a bad experience and continues to show that Costa Rica passes over the disabled.

Excellent place to study, relax and of course read!

A large majority of books, files and magazines are found. It also hosts the Concert Band.
