Extremely talented artist we bought a few reproductions from him. Vivid colors and original happy delic style. The turtle painting is a masterpiece. Warm and charismatic person.

We we just visited because we had some time before our shuttle, but it was totally worth it. His "happydelich" art emphasizes bright neon colors that he uses to combine natural objects (like animals) and shapes,m realism and surrealism with some deep thinking. Ferlander was there when we visited, and he took the time to talk to us (I guess he speaks multiple languages) and explain the symbols in his art. We decided to buy several inexpensive prints.

Works dripping with talent of the charming artist Ferlander Arguedas. His works are a vivid description full of Color, joy and inspiration of the most beloved animals in Costa Rica. You can be impressed by the works and buy them.

Ferlander's Studio was not at all what we expected when we saw signs along the hanging bridges trail at Selvatura Park. We thought for sure it was going to be filled with touristy souvenirs - boy were we wrong! This is true artistry at its finest. Ferlander and his wife Lin put such soul into their work. You can feel it immediately when you walk into the gallery and from a few minutes of speaking with them. The level of detail and thoughtfulness is incredible - it was well worth the price for the uniqueness of the piece we purchased from the gallery. I highly recommend you stop into Ferlander's art gallery while in Monteverde. You won't be disappointed!
