We stayed one night at William's beautiful coffee farm. William and his daughter (she speaks English) were lovely and very welcoming! We camped under a beautiful tree with gorgeous view on the valley below. The drive up to Monteverde is steep but you're there in 15 min. Careful, the campsite entrance is pretty close to where it says on Google maps but William's house is actually a little higher on the main road, La Trucha San Luis. It's on the left about 100m higher with a red portail and a painted/decorated house.
