Monteverde Night Tour

Windy night so less to see. Nice walk and good tour guide. Very knowledgeable

A great way to see different creatures than what you find during the day. The guides here are excellent and very knowledgeable.

I really enjoyed this night tour. The guide we had (Michael Leiton) was very knowledgeable and told us interesting things about everything we saw, and answered all our questions with ease. He was amazing at finding birds sleeping in trees, interesting insects and spiders, and even animals in the tree tops. We got to see a beautiful owl, and even a poisonous snake. I realize this doesn't always happen but we were lucky to have a very observant group who really had their eyes peeled. The trails seemed pretty easy; mostly flat or with a slight incline, though you did need to watch for tree roots and pick up your feet as needed. Each person in the group was given a rechargeable flashlight to use. There are bathrooms to use at the reception center before or after the walk. The tour lasted two hours but it was so interesting that it seemed like much less.

Definitely suggest this tour.I was able to see sloths, snakes, scorpions and some amazing trees.
