Second time here. The night frog tour is where it's at. They give you information, but ask a lot of questions. Inquisitive children will definitely enjoy learning. Ask ask ask. It is a great way to learn about the frogs of costa rica. Also.. the cutest ones are the deadliest.

Had a blast in the frog exhibit! We got there around 4:45 which was a perfect time to see the frogs in the daylight and at night. Our tour guide Davey was amazing and got us some awesome pictures. Great value too!

Don't go during the day. We went when driving back from Monteverde and only saw four frogs. Most of them are nocturnal. They allow visitors to come back at night (guided tours every hour beginning at 5:30) and it was a very different experience. The guides are very knowledgeable and made it fun.

It was amazing... with one ticket you can go to the frog pond at daytime and nighttime. So you can see all kinds of frogs. First I thought you walk through a kind of garden but the frogs are in terrariums. But in there it's much more easy to find them. The guys working there were so friendly and took care of us. We had no guided tour but the guys didn't care about it and explained everything! It was an amazing experience!
