AmaSer is under construction right now but their environment and vibe remains intact. A peaceful sanctuary that is the perfect setting for a successful yoga practice. The space they are creating and currently have is a dream come true with incredible views and nature. Avani is one of the best yoga teachers I have ever had. She kept your mind clear and focused while also providing helpful tips to get the most of the practice. As a tourist I felt very comfortable dropping in for a class and they had all the equipment needed for class. Wish I was in town longer to take another class.

I can't say enough wonderful things about AmaSer. I attended the public classes which were fantastic; full of variety and helpful direction. I was also lucky enough to have some private classes with Avani which have created an excellent foundation for my practice. Avani is so generous with her knowledge and tailored the classes perfectly to accommodate some hip limitations I have. A truly special place that I'm grateful to have found.

Such an incredible experience from beginning to end. The location is amazing and located right in the jungle...with sloths, monkeys and chameleons just hanging around. The town of Puerto Viejo and local beaches are just a 5 minute walk from OM. The food is so nourishing and fresh! I don't think we ate the same thing twice unless someone requested it! I left there feeling inspired to go out and share Yoga with the world! The place, the staff, the students, the food, the location, the wildlife just were the icing on the cake! Thank you...I will be back!

If you are traveling from San Jose in the afternoon you better fly to Limon, otherwise you will most likely be caught in traffic and have bit of a stressful 5 hour to 9 hour drive to Puerto Viejo. So just catch a 6 am shuttle the next day or fly for around $90 and then a $22 Shuttle to PV

Beautiful hilltop retreat with excellent staff and a calming vibe. Wonderful yoga session we had!
