National Car Rental

We made a prepay of 50USD, but had to pay again because they did not find it in the system. We had to bring back the car, but nobody was there (during opening hours). There was on a paper written be back in 30 min. , but we waited 50min and the number to call was invalid. Someone else was waiting and he told us, that the women often is not there and it is closed during opening hours. When she arrived she just took the key and did not control the car. For the women it was totally ok to be not there during opening hours and it was no problem for her that we missed our bus and had to walk for several hours.

If Emanuel is working, you can trust this guy. Great advice and service. He is really great at his job and an honest person in a position that customers are often beware of.

We rented our first car from Elvis and Emanuel and couldn't ask for a better experience. When we arrived, Elvis explained everything in detail and made sure we understood every aspect of driving in Costa Rica. Despite having issues with our battery, Elvis was kind and helped us the entire time. Emanuel also gave us a free ride to our next accommodations in Uvita. I highly recommend renting from Elvis at National.
