A little bit off the beaten bath, Osa de Rio is a beautiful hostel nonetheless! It’s walking distance to the waterfall, and very quiet. Sitting outside at night was tranquil and breathtaking. Highly recommended!

Located in the hills above Uvita Osa de Rio is a beautiful garden paradise. The proprietors, Greg & Jeannette are happy to show off their great variety of trees and bushes surrounding their habitation. We spent a few nights here, peaceful and quiet. Excellent coffee in the morning followed by a wonderful swim in a nearby swimming hole in the Rio Uvita. Greg is wonderful (thank you :-) ) Recommend!
