Beautiful , well appointed home and a great attentive host

Gorgeous place. Well equipped. Nice pool. Hot water. Great views. Alex and Estefani are very helpful. We came knowing it was the rainy season to find out what it's really like. We have rain most afternoons with sun most mornings. The road is most slippy at the top which caused us some intense moments when the 4x4 we rented showed us how we had to be very careful. But we've done ok so far. We've seen all manner of birds and critters. No monkeys or sloths yet. Power goes out a lot, we knew that when we came. There are candles and a bbq, so when we had some extended outages on this visit, we could make do. This is a comfortable home with a dishwasher, and all of the kitchen amenities including an icemaker fridge with filtered water. Master bedroom and washroom is a great size. Balcony upstairs and view of the whales tail (Balena) from the shower is a nice touch. It is mostly private, but Alex and Estefani live very close by and go down the lane beside the house to the lower house also on the property. So not 100% private. It's nice to have them here though. Every issue is dealt with timely by them. Like 1 day the toaster just stopped working, we told Alex on our way out in the morning and a replacement was here upon our return at the end of the day. All in all a great place to be in paradise. Pura vida baby.

Great jungle retreat. Love all the birds and animals. Road in is steep an treacherous so plan as few trips as possible.

A great house to spend a vacation .Weather was fine,some rain some sun seemed to come in the right mix.Sun during early morning and afternoon, rain late afternoon and night.Gorgeous views of Whaletail and the southern coast.Fun ride up the mountain to the house!!!

Beautiful place. You have to see the view of Marino Ballena to believe it. Breathtaking! I would give 5 stars, except for the following : The water main broke while we were there, which made this place a lot less than paradise for the price we paid. The drive to the house is pretty awful. You definitely need a 4x4 and some nerve to make it. The directions on Airbnb stating ½ a mile the way the toucan flies is definitely misleading... But you get to see toucans in the trees while you swim in the pool!
