MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A RESERVATION! The food is pretty good, but expensive and the owners are very nice and friendly. The only disappointment is they only serve one party or group at a time. I was there by myself and had to wait for a hr before I could even order food, then I had to wait for it. They turned 5 or 6 groups away that would have filled the restaurant because they don't appear to have the staff to handle it. There is only one cook the husband and he makes the food for each order. The wife works as host and bartender. Again great atmosphere, good food, good drinks just be prepared to wait a hour or two with out a reservation.

Definitely our new favorite spot in Uvita. Delicious mains and there's a fantastic selection of small plates that allow you to put together a varied and super flavorful meal. All the ingredients were clearly very fresh and high quality. The service was great! Tito is the best! Can't say enough great things about Osa Thyme!!

Unfortunately a terrible experience was had here. We waited nearly 2hrs for our food, that never showed. Hostess continually lied to us, saying "10 more minutes" or "yours is next". After almost an hour of this, we realized the table before us had not been served either. At this point we told them to cancel our order and politely left. My biggest concern, don't continually lie to your customers. Set reasonable expectations on the capacity of the staff. If you can't serve someone, say so and let them go on with their evening. Great waste of 2hrs of my last night in Costa Rica.

This place is a hidden gem. Tito, the owner is super nice and you can tell that they put love and care into every meal and drink they create. If you looking for a quiet romantic spot or a place to meet with friends, look no further. The clam chowder, chicken curry and watermelon salad are unbelievably delicious. We’ll be back!
