Our first time, was for breakfast but they serve throughout the day till 7pm. Our waiter was a friendly young man who fortunately spoke English, not that we couldn't order breakfast, but given we are 3 weeks into our Spanish lessons, a welcomed sound. Their kitchen is large, clean and very efficient...and what a great omelet the Kevi is. Nice to also have Soda prices. Yes, we'll be back.

I love this place! Great local soda (soda means typical-food restaurant or counter), tasty dishes and super low prices. I eat here twice a week and recommend it to all my friends and visitors. Try the Casado- a typical plate crammed full with a little bit of everything you need. Best deal in town.

This is a local eatery, with more or less zero ambiance. It is not a romantic setting... HOWEVER If you are looking for delicious, reasonably priced local fare, this is the place that you need to stop. It's a bit out of the way as you drive south along the Costanera, but it's there just around the corner. Be sure to stop. The cassados are excellent value, and the arroz con pollo is excellent. Breakfast (gallo pinto), lunch and dinner are excellent. There are some fancier meals here, and I have never gone wrong with anything I've tried. If you are looking for an authentic meal, you must stop here. There are seemingly a million sodas along the route, but make this one a stop for sure!
