This hotel is fine, but the description is not accurate at all. We booked a "spacious Junior suite" which is listed on line as being 530 sf. The room was small and dark and just about 300 sf. The only way you would get to 530 sf is if you included the concrete patio. Our room did not look anything like the photos of the Junior Suite on line. This hotel needs a lot of updating in both their room descriptions and furnishing/ bedding. The people at the front desk, however, were very nice.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff is friendly and efficient ,the food and service in the restaurant is good...my only complaint is that the shower needed a non slip mat...for the safety of older guest especially..

Awesome ocean view staying. Delicious restaurant including vegan and gluten free dishes. Wide pool with a stunning view to the see. The best yoga chapel for that activity. More than 200 hundreds birds to watch in the area.

We celebrated a birthday at Cristal Ballena and the setting (sunset from the pool), food (I'm retiring from cooking it was so good), and service (attentive and caring) made it memorable. Thank you.
