Had an excellent time tasting various single origin coffees. Marco was super knowledgeable about everything there is to know about coffee and was provided great recommendations for which beans to try. I was really impressed by this place. Will be coming back to try more and grab some beans.

Must visit place for coffee lovers. Stunning garden and incredibly nice staff that are passionate about coffee. Marcos, the barista, was amazing and very knowledgeable. Lovely breakfast!

I am a coffee enthusiast and I travel a lot - this is one of my favorite coffee shops in the world! Costa Rica without question has some of the highest quality and best tasting coffee on the planet, and this place truly displays this. There is a variety of different types of coffee to try, with different roasting styles. The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful with choosing a variety based on your taste. If you are a coffee connoisseur like me, or just love delicious food and a good environment, Cafeoteca is a must!

Probably the best coffee joint in San Josè, the breadth and depth of the grounds and roasts available are incomparable to any other joint in the area. Stop by if you'd like a lesson in good coffees and pack a few to take home.
