always fun to walk around and check out the shops plus if you stop by soda San Francisco you will be sure to get some really great food!!!

Great to have a market open everyday in the center of town. You have many choices of tropical fruits, vegetables, meats and fish. Plus you are surrounded by many sodas where you can grab a quick and tasty meal. The only warning, you can only shop with cash.

This is a good place to get fresh produce and vegetables. Prices are not listed so you have to trust vendors that they are charging everyone the same. There's a lot of variety you wouldn't be able to find in a super market. You can also eat here and buy artisanal products like shoes.

Great market. Spacious and filled with amazing looking produce. Nice to look at, tasta and photograph.

Get a taste of local Costa Rican culture in one condensed locale. Local ready to eat tasty foods and diners, fruit, vegetable, meat and seafood purveyors, and throw in a macrobiotic and shoe shop to boot.. Local buses out front transport you to the quaint Burroughs of Atenas
