Rustic little airport in the jungle. The flight from Dan Jose Airport was about 20 minutes over the mountains and the staff was very polite and on time. The runway is gravel and the actual building is open air with a few wooden tables and chairs. There is a futon that had seen better days and a couch with some cushions. You're not there long enough for it to matter. Prior to leaving from there to head back to San Jose, you will be weighed prior to getting on the plane. They luggage weight limit is 30 lbs and they will charge you if you go over. After your luggage is weighed you are required to step on the scale with your carry on items to get a total weight. This is a safety feature since the planes are small.

It's a functional, no frills open air airport. Decent wood table & chairs in the waiting area, but cushioned furniture is well-worn. No a/c, no concessions, no wifi....but the staff are friendly & helpful.

It's just an open air, one-room shack alongside a gravel runway but the service is friendly and the flights are on time (weather permitting). Get there early and you may even get to leave early if everyone is there!

Jungle Airstrip with small shack open air airport. There are snacks and drinks here .Really cool flying in here just over the Palm trees. Go for the experience.
