The surf house is a magical place. Set in an ideal location, you can see the waves through the palm trees and in the mornings take your coffee to the beach to check out the swell. The vegan breakfast and food in general are among the best food I've had in Costa Rica. Rooms are set up in a perfect simplicity that offers everything you need but still "force you" to hang out in the communal areas and talk to other people. This was actually one of the best parts of my stay: the first place where people actually talked to each other instead of only looking at their phones. I feel like I've made true friends here. The atmosphere is very relaxed and peaceful, I came for 3 days and ended up staying 2 weeks, everyone else also just kept on adding days to their stay. Can't wait to go back soon! ♥️

The food and atmosphere are fantastic. Such a fun group of people. Spent 3 weeks there. Surfed plenty of waves. Made some great friends. I highly recommend this place. I for sure will be back.

This is hands down the best place to stay in Pavones. The price is fantastic... the rooms are clean...it is extremely safe... and the best place to meet all the friendly people of the village. It is a life changing experience. Ask for Moses, he will make sure your stay is abundant. Let's not forget the longest lefts of your life.

Surf House Pavones is a place like you have never experienced before. Just check-in at the hammock-reception to instantly feel like you're one of the gang, and let the one and only Moshe guide your ride from there! There are different room sizes to accommodate your comfort, a big shared bathroom area with jungle view, and a few chill spaces where you can be sure to meet super cool surfers. The vibe is so laid back and easy (being ca. 2 min walking to any wave, jungle, sunset or food in Pavones) that it feels like a bubble where time actually stops. It's an animal friendly place so also expect to meet plenty of cats and dogs, and to respect the vegan rules of the kitchen. Thanks guys for an amazing time with you and can't wait to be back !!

Wow! What an amazing place and great hosts. It's right on the wave, you can't get any closer. The food is healthy and delicious. The vibes are good and the scene is better. Do yourself a favor and stay here.
