This place has great gelato. I Recommend getting chocolate.

Gelato shop that makes traditional gelato with many classic flavours. The texture is rich and smooth, firm but then melts readily in the mouth, as Italian gelato should be. Unfortunately there are a few small ice chunks in the Nutella gelato. There is a lot of condensation on the inside of their freezers so they probably have a hard time keeping the freezer temperature consistent. Nevertheless, the nutella flavour was full-bodied and tastes just like Nutella. The chocolate chip gelato has similar good texture, but the flavour is lacking in the gelato base. It had neither milky, creamy flavour like straciatella nor vanilla flavour. It was bland. I still enjoy the gelato and will go back for more if I were to stay in La Fortuna longer.
