I love shopping here. Many great books and friendly staff.

The best multilingual bookshop I know of in Brno, e.g. 5-language 'pictionary', or 7-language guides through the Czech Republic, its regions and major cities - brilliant for tourists but also for language enthusiasts! Also a range of unusual 'arty' postcards etc. etc. Further to add to its attractivity for coffee-addicts like myself, on the first floor of the Academia book shop, there is a small coffee shop: it is quiet and sophisticated, offers professional and friendly service, and excellent coffee for a lower price then elsewhere at this establishment level. I love going there for a double espresso machiato or capucino and check out new book arrivals at the same time - thought no books at coffee tables is a very reasonable rule to respect - and one can read something else while enjoying the coffee, or use their free WIFI.
