It is a prestigious Brno grammar school, according to independent statistics one of the best in Brno. The building of this school can accommodate up to 840 students and a large faculty. It consists of four floors and three wings. On each floor there are classrooms equipped with basic furniture such as wooden chairs and benches, PVC floor and classic black board. In better equipped rooms a white board and a data projector are available. Part of the building is also a complex of smaller gyms, designed especially for physical education lessons in the winter months. Other uses include rentals, cultural events and various leisure activities. Next to the grammar school building there is an athletic oval and two playgrounds with artificial surface intended for various sports. In 2019 there was a complete reconstruction of the surfaces. The building houses the Brno Radio Proglas and the school canteen, which provides lunch not only for students of this grammar school. The school's attractions include an electron microscope, a gym and a library with an info center.
