Tourist Information Centre THIS IS Brno

Very nice staff and although I would have preferred a "Brno card" instead of putting the info on my regular contactless debit card I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that they gave me a present to go, a postcard, a very nice booklet and map of the city and a ... bag of coffee?? Wow!! Price is about right for what you get, it's similar to prices for such cards in Lublin, Poland. Of course, much cheaper than Prague and transport is included should you need it. Tonnes of very purchasable "merch" on site, very pretty looking too :)

The rating goes for the transfer of the offices from the center of the old town (it was closed there) to this place here with no signs how to get to the new offices (we are not locals remember!). We asked at least 4-5 nearby stores but even the locals could not tell us where it was. Sorry but it took us 30 min to find it....

Always worth popping in to book a tour, get tickets, or buy a small souvenir. Grew especially fond of the Brno-dragon themed porcelain ;-)
