Kostel svaté Barbory

Worth a detour to pay homage at this awesome wooden altar. Amazing feat! Feels odd among the tower blocks but worth the support in a sea of Soviet worker architecture.

The local church is well maintained and Mr. Lazárek is a nice and friendly person who also cares for children. Mrs. Pokorná takes very good care of the beautiful decoration of the church and the order inside. Various cultural performances (concerts, lectures, readings) sometimes take place in the church. It is a pleasant place for meditation and cultural experience. The surroundings of the church are nicely landscaped and there is a small well next to the rectory.

Beautiful church

Beautiful church on the background of the invasion of the panlak. That city should be enrolled in the UNESCO cell as it is. Such a look reliably takes your breath away - the football pitch under the windows of the empty shops, family villas, the brick church and the wall of pink boxes on the top. Applause.
