Strongly ambivalent feeling from the Bechyně Estate. We received accommodation in a pension as a replacement for unsuccessful accommodation with a night escape from a Bechyně hotel from the same owner. We are not into golf, so I cannot evaluate the quality of golf services, only accommodation and staff. If possible, the staff has five stars and accommodation one. I have not experienced such uncomfortable accommodation for a long time. I'm not exactly a subtle figure, so I waited for the strongly creaking bed to burst under me every time I turned. It was not even possible to get up in the bathtub, because it was placed under the roof slope. There was no such thing as a small fridge or a hair dryer. Breakfast menu reasonable. To the staff: the gentleman was very helpful and surprised that the operator extended the validity of the replacement accommodation voucher by a month due to the covoid on its own. So to be honest, my evaluation result is pretty ambiguous.

We can recommend. Around the forests and beautiful nature. Great, communicative and helpful staff, classic breakfast, everyone will find their own. Ham, cheese, pastics, cereal, sweet, eggs, vegetables, homemade strudel. There is also a bistro, they make food for a good price. You can try golf at a reasonable price. They will also provide coaches. Sitting in the yard, in front of the pension, by the golf course ... beauty. There is also a small library. I leave one star, because there is always room for improvement, but these are the little things I see because I'm from the field. Details. It should be noted that this is not a hotel, but a guest house. As a bonus, let's say that we live in a historic building, on the former Bechyně estate in the former Zeman house, I guess. Find the history of the place, all the families and owners, how they went in the course of history and create your own picture. It can be an interesting research to the present. A visit to the castle in Bechyně will help you. It is possible to walk with a guide or stay at it.
