The Velké Dářko pond has been standing here since the end of the 15th century and with 106 ha it is the largest pond in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. It is probably named after the settlement of Darov, where it lies. It is a popular place for water sports enthusiasts using mainly the power of the wind, but also muscles.

At Velké Dářko we made hiking through the forest that Škrdlovice, where we were on holiday. It is about 1.5 to 2 km on foot. forest. The weather was not good, it was raining and the wind was blowing on the dam. It's nice there. They were just sailboat races.
