The museum has 1 larger indoor exhibition and the other with outdoor exhibitions and several other buildings. Everything is nicely described and everyone can learn at their own pace. Since it's more theoretical, it fascinated my partner more than I did (the engineer's heart beat), but it was definitely interesting. As a supplement to the exhibition, I will recommend the neighboring Jeroným mine. In Krásno you have history, incl. the modern one and in Jeroným they will take you underground and show how it was once mined nicely by hand 😊

A beautiful and quiet museum focused on the mining history of the region - Krásno has been one of the important mining towns since the Middle Ages. In the main building, a giant steam engine, which they had to put on the roof, is interesting :) With a small 4.5-year-old daughter, we rode a mining train and were able to see all the parked locomotives. She really liked it and will definitely want to come again
