My grandfather worked here from 1973 to 1990. The factory went on two shifts, morning and afternoon, from Monday to Friday. The Velveta bus stop was actually built here after the demise of Velveta.
The bus stop is still called soc. for Velveta. The Velveta Dolní Kalná factory, operation 5/6 Nová Paka, ceased operation on September 30, 1991. The buildings were subsequently returned in restitution.
