The beautiful church of St. John the Baptist acquired its present appearance in the 19th century, however, its history falls far. The original chapel was replaced by a wooden building in 1530, which was repeatedly rebuilt. Around the church there is a cemetery with a wooden bell tower typical of the Elbe.

Very interesting church with a separate bell tower in Nový Hradec Králové. It is a cemetery church of the sixteenth century. I have seen quite a few wooden churches and each of them has its own unique architectural concept and atmosphere.

Beautiful wooden church with an interesting history and beautiful early Baroque altars. Next to the church is a wooden belfry with two ancient bells. Interesting tombstones in the cemetery are worth seeing ...
