A very interesting piece of history. The tour is worth it. The place is beautiful and you can see how much work was done after the floods to put the exhibition in such a nice condition!

Josef Ritter von Führich was born in this house in Kratzau. He was an important painter for church art and fairy tale romance. From 1840, Führich was a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.
