Holy Trinity Church

Nice country church in nice landscape. It has a surprisingly luxurious interior.

The Holy Trinity Church in Kopřivná is a valuable Rococo monument from the mid-18th century. In 1958 it was entered in the list of cultural monuments. Uniform oriented longitudinal single-nave building, with a shallow, slightly indented, tri-side finished chancel. Adjacent to the south wall of the chancel is a tetrahedral sacristy with a convexly tense face of the south wall. The ship is almost square, with chamfered corners, on sides with quadrilateral anterooms that have chamfered corners. On the western side of the church there is a prismatic tower with bevelled corners, its slightly curved (concave) cloak follows the bevelled sections of the nave. At the belfry level it is connected by volute wings. The façades of the church are divided by double lizens, defining sunken fillings broken by windows with segmented arches; windows are lined with plastic chambranes topped with an acanthus and a gemstone decorated with a bell design. The entrance portal of the church The church is accessed through a portal in the podvěží. The portal is framed by backed pilasters with Ionic warheads carrying tall ledges. In the supraport of the portal there is a relief family coat of arms of the Lords of Žerotín, above which is a papal emblem carried by a pair of flying angels. The tower is decorated with a massive iron cross and the church bells were donated by the Storeck brothers from Brno. Another gem is the Baroque organ, which has 792 pipes and 20 registers. Originally they were powered by bellows with a pedal device and in 1937 they were overhauled. The church is adjoined by a cemetery surrounded by a wall with four gates and two corner chapels. The access to the church is now lined on both sides of the road by a newly planted lime tree alley from 2006.
