Miacis Klub

Quite easily accessible former quarry at the foot of the front beech hill near Rapotín. Wall quarry estimated width 35 m, height of quarry wall about 15 m. It is a relatively interesting geological locality. The reason for mining here was the occurrence of calcitic erlan rock and impure marble (crystalline limestone). In addition, there are other similar rocks in the quarry as the brecciated calcitic erlan, the epidote, and amphibole. All this is interspersed with biotic gneiss. The gneiss (exactly two-mica pararula with garnet and sillimanite) actually forms the main massif of the whole Beech Hill.

Nothing to see ... just walk around this place on the lookout tower, which is yellow on the top of the hill :)
