Beautiful church, newly renovated. In addition, it has a Marian garden, where you can meditate in peace.

The Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary in Jednov is a protected cultural monument of the Czech Republic. A rich spring of tasty water supplied the settlement as early as the 18th century. A wooden statue of the Virgin Mary of Sorrows and later a small chapel were built at the spring. This place became a popular destination for pilgrims who believed in the healing effects of "holy" water. The owner of the Suchdol estate (where the settlement of Jednov belongs), the monastery of St. Klára in Olomouc, decided to build a church, which was built in 1810. At present, the spring, which springs at the altar, is led out of the church, into a small water chapel standing directly on the road. There is still great interest in the healing mineral water, as well as in a visit to the nearby Marian Garden, which belongs to the church.

I dare say that this place of pilgrimage is not so well known in the public. And it is definitely a shame. The Church of the Visitation has a rich history. This will be recorded also in the current (autumn 2017) extensive repair. Just a few steps from the church is the Marian garden and you just have to visit. It doesn't matter if you're a believer. You're coming back here.
