There is not many large sacral buildings above 1000m in CZE. The Chapel of Kunstat just makes it into this exclusive club and although the contrast of the white rotunda against the green trees and blue sky is nice, the winter white-on-white is surely impressive. Crosscountry or Backcountry is the best method of arrival...

Nice chappel. There are masses on regular basis. Worth visit. When riding the bike you need to take some narrow path 150m long to get there.

The Baroque Chapel of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary stands on the main ridge of the Eagle Mountains at an altitude of 1,035 m above sea level. right by Jirásek's mountain road. It served as a place for the worship of woodworkers, most of whom came from Tyrol and were invited to work in the Eagle Mountains. The timber they mined was supplied to Kutná Hora mines and local glassworks. The sanctuary was built by the mountain road connecting Zdobnice with Kunštát.
