Our beautiful local landmark, which remembers many of our events. The High Baroque church was built by the Liechtenstein family, who owned the chateau in Moravská Třebová. The church is therefore a new building and was completed in 1729. Rather, according to legend, the construction project was commissioned by the phenomenal Baroque architect Santini, while at that time a church project for Salzburg was being elaborated. Thanks to the exchange of plans, the church for Salzburg was built in Křenov. In a rational analysis of the building, it can be concluded that the project could actually be worked out in Santini's workshop. Apart from the dynamically designed façade, however, it has no unorthodox floor plan typical of the work of this architect. The ground plan itself is therefore relatively conventional and contemporary Santini literature rejects this attribution. It is interesting to note that Santini's attributed buildings are still a few, including the pilgrimage church in Jaroměřice u Jevíčka and the pilgrimage church in Jesenec with a castle. .......
