The original school in Hostomice came from 1822. The new school was designed by the architect ing. Josef Srb from Smíchov and realized by František Eliášek from Hostomice. The foundation stone (today walled in the southwestern corner of the school) was laid in 1899, the school was inaugurated on September 27, 1900. The style is a mixture of Neo-Renaissance and Neo-Baroque. The school currently has about 300 pupils from both local and twelve neighboring municipalities.
