Kostel sv. Vavřince

Drnovice u Vyškova. Protected monument - parish church of St. Lawrence. This early Baroque building dates from the second half of the 17th century. From a small hill it looks down on the village below. There is a Stations of the Cross and other furniture around the church. What we don't see are two tombs under the church. The remains of priests were kept there, in the second are the remains of the owner of the estate, Baron Jan Mundy and his family. The entrances to the tombs are walled up. And I will remember the patron saint St. Lawrence. Today, monuments to it can be found all over the world, only in Bohemia and Moravia about 160 churches and churches are dedicated to this saint.
