A beautiful path along a linden alley to the Chapel of the Holy Trinity

In 2017, a comprehensive restoration of all Stations of the Stations of the Cross was carried out, mainly involving the consolidation of damaged works, including the reconstruction of damaged areas and missing parts. The restoration resulted in the suspension of degradation processes and the expressive rehabilitation of individual stops, thus increasing the presentation value of the entire Stations of the Cross. The Baroque Stations of the Cross dates back to 1773 and consists of a set of architecturally structured stone triangular pylons topped with a cross and carrying reliefs with passion motifs. It is Calvary (Stations of the Cross) made of sandstone, having a total of 13 stops. The Stations of the Cross begin in Pod Trojicí Street and proceed south to the slope to the summit to the Holy Trinity Chapel. Except for one (12th stop with square base ending in cross), the individual stops are triangular pyramids divided into three levels: plinth, pedestal with frame with projected corners, cornice, stem (front side with relief of corresponding scene), cornice, pyramid from front sides with blank label, warhead ended with a cross. Stations of the Cross suitable for less experienced pilgrims. It is reachable from Rosice and the stops are relatively short distances. Although the Way of the Cross is still in the city, it is set in beautiful nature. The chapel that completes the Stations of the Cross, but unfortunately is not accessible. However, it is repaired from outside. Nice stops are also individual stops.
