Autocamp Jindřiš

Lovely camping ground, super friendly owner. He runs the place very professional, speaks many languages and - most importantly - has a big heart. We loved our stay there and we give five starts for sure.

Very nice and clean camp but extremely rude owner. I had injured leg when we arived and so we needed to stay in chatet instead the tent. They had just one chalet with two beds for 500,- . We decided we take chalet and our two kids will sleap in sleap begs and tent equipment on the floor in this tiny chalet - owner charges us instead of 500,- czk/day 800,- czk/day - so 300,-/day more for two little kids sleaping on the floor. Last day family decided to go cycling and i, as i was unabled to walk or cycle -wanted to stay in camp with my laptop. Owner just force me very rudely to leave, because our accommodation ended in 12PM and i am not allowed to stay in camp any more. I have never seen so rude person ever and would not recommend to stay in camp to anybody.

Nice campsite lovely location with terraces and good communal facilities - kitchen wifi area etc. Friendly owner speaks various languages including (unusually in this country) reasonable English. We noticed after leaving that we were charged more per person than the website and their written info on reception os check that you pay correct price. Perhaps we were charged at foreigner rate?! Local bar has nice location and beer garden but food is pretty bad (even considering cheap price) apart from a good fruit dumpling for pudding.

Followed the signs from the main road, not knowing what to expect, as a last minute decision. Turns out it's idyllic, if not quite ready yet! Spoke to the very friendly owner (in my best schoolboy German, as my Czech is non-existent), and he explained he's doing renovations and should be finished by the end of May. Fortunately for me, I have a motor-home so I didn't need the facilities, but he explained I was welcome to use the loo, I would just have to flush it with a bucket of rainwater! The location is lovely, with deer frolicking in the fields , and once the new shower block has been completed it promises to be a fist class location - certainly on a par with Caravan Club sites in the UK. Look forward to returning once the builders have finished. Bonus: Free WiFi, friendly cat :)
