Hotel Swing

Good place to stay with a family. Pretty big backyard with playground, table tennis. Inside you can find a free billiard and kicker. Breakfast are basic, but you will a bit find everything. Wide offer of drinks and ice cream, tasty beer. Dinners were ok.

Why just average? Ok, where to start: the hotel itself looks very good from the outside, the rooms are nice at first glance, now we get to BUT. The hotel, which was in the photo when booking, was a completely different, more luxurious hotel, located about 20 km elsewhere (Lipno n. Vltavou - we found the original hotel in the photos). The photos were deleted one week before arrival. Rooms - It can be seen that the hotel has recently been renovated. Rooms at first glance nice, only the overall impression spoiled the mess. Dust and dead flies on the windowsills, dirt in the bathroom, mold on the wall from the bathroom (leaking shower). The cleaning service walked nicely through the corridors, walking around the rooms, but no result was visible. Towels on the ground for exchange = unknown signal. Food - breakfast spoils the pastries from the previous day, or even reheated from the microwave (that's a fact?) !!!! The private beach mentioned in the original description is in an unknown location. The dinners were completely gone, the portions were sufficient, sometimes above average. On the contrary, the only positive thing I would like to point out is the staff, who tried to accommodate everything and tried to be pleasant at all costs. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend the hotel and I will not look for its services again.

The hotel has undergone a noticeable renovation, but unfortunately there is still an established communist regime inside. Rooms without refrigerator, room cleaning means bringing toilet paper and taking out the basket (not swept once in a week, let alone torn), plates, cutlery and glass considerably destroyed. Outdoor spaces without any notice from the staff (cat food pocket, which was on the table on our arrival, on it even after our weekly departure), etc. Not to be negative, there is a very decent opportunity to have fun in bad weather (football, billiards, ping - pong, board games) Outdoors for children sandpits, swings and trampolines. We were also satisfied with the food. Well flavored even in sufficient quantities. Summary, if someone does not tolerate cleaning or cleans themselves, they will be satisfied.

Hotel Swing, which we chose, does not correspond at all to the photos they published. The food was gone, but as for the rest of the hotel I would have to give - 5 room service no change of towels at all, bed linen, wiping the floor nothing at all. They filled us with a roll of toilet paper 2 times during the whole week. No staff until after dinner, a nice gentleman took care of us downstairs. The owner is totally on the hook. I can say for myself that I was there for the first and last time
