We visited the brewery on our way around Southern Bohemia. The lady was super friendly and beer was very good. I would recommend everyone to stop there on their visit to Nové Hrady. There are few hikes starting from their place as well.

The hard work of the owner to transform the medieval construction of the mill at the end of the world into one of the most attractive tourist places in the Novohradské Mountains deserves admiration.

A beautiful place in solitude near the forest and ubiquitous peace. Accommodation is up to standard with the possibility of using the sauna and whirlpool. The friendly staff will offer, in addition to good regular meals, various homemade specialties, including their own, very tasty, winning 12 ° Zevl beer. Of interest are the great tours of the restored and fully functional mill and its own mini-brewery. Outside you can see the magic of the collection of old tractors. The owner is a sympathetic enthusiast, he knows what he is doing and above all he understands it. Even now in autumn there is something to see and experience. I warmly recommend.

We visited this restaurant, if you can call it that at all. I mainly react to the arrogant behavior of the operating lady (or something, as she said herself, when we asked her what it really is). But first of all. Poor service. We were a fairly large group at the table and the attendant was not able to serve the whole table at once, but had to take it in two parts after our reminder. We waited for food for about 45 minutes. Most of the food was perfectly fine, except for the potato pancake, which was smelled of some substitute, and especially the chicken wings, which were totally toasted and dry. We still ate the food, which I found out in retrospect was a big mistake and from now on I will always return the food right away. At first, the operating lady started throwing us off the table, saying that they had a reservation there for 15 hours, while she wasn't there yet for 15 hours and started preparing a party there, it's not that she wanted to fire us, but what style she said. After a while, we called her, and politely told her that the wings were bad, so be careful next time. And the operating lady told us why we had not returned the food before (yes, it was a mistake). I told the lady that I ate the food, because I was already very hungry all day on the bike and it was already after 2 pm. It was possible to eat with great self-denial. Then the operating lady began to respond arrogantly, but in a really awful tone, that we were the first to complain about the food and that she herself was eating it like that, and that all the food she was selling there wasn't being complained about. She then said one bead, that we were not right, that the pub was half-empty, but very crowded, and that she would look at the cameras and show us. At that time, I had already given up the dialogue with the operating lady and we left. The other food was quite fine, the staff could also survive, but what could definitely not be survived is the behavior of the operating lady. Here never again !!
