We come from Jirkov district Chomutov. We went on a trip to Hradec Králové and visited your zoo. We will have great experiences. We spent there all day and we were excited. I wish you good luck and health in the years to come.

Sincerely writing this Burian's paintings are no longer in line with the views of scientists but once that the guy had a great imagination and a great workshop and two that I was raised in these illustrations and I have a huge fondness for them. Besides, you can watch them for free while visiting the zoo in Dvur Kralove. They still make an impression so why not? :)

Adventure books with illustrations by Zdeněk Burian were a favorite reading in my student years. I admire Burian's paintings with paleontological reconstructions of prehistoric animals, which he did mainly with Josef Augusta. Therefore, every time I visit ZOO DK, I look forward to seeing a permanent exhibition of his paintings.
