Památník obětem z Českého Malína

The village of Český Malín was founded in Volhynia, Ukraine in 1871 on the land of the Polish landowner Kazimierz Sliwinsky by twenty families from Louny, Rakovnicko and Žatec. Thanks to the introduction of modern agricultural mechanization, it soon had a higher level than the surrounding Ukrainian municipalities. The village was burned down on July 13, 1943 by German troops on the pretext that they were attacked by a bander division. The monument is composed of stone blocks of black and light color and the names of the victims are displayed on them.
