The church and the vicarage would probably need more investment in maintenance.

The foundation stone of the present sanctuary was sanctified in September 1854. The architect of the temple was Jan Aulegh, a native of Štemberk. The church was consecrated on October 28, 1861. From 1857 on the main altar, there is a picture of st. of the Apostles Peter and Paul by Josef Keszler, who donated his patron Alois of Lichtenstein to the church. In 1859, a church organ was purchased, which was replaced by the present one in 1907 by Jan Tuček from Kutná Hora.
