Rector's Church. The rector of the church has always been the canon of the Olomouc chapter since 1598, who has had the right to wear pontificals since 1752. In the church practice, these are the insignia of the high priest, ie bishops, including the pope (ring, miter - headdress, crutch, pectoral pendant - chest jewelry, formerly gloves), and also some other prominent dignitaries (provosts, archdeacons, etc.). I would like to add that the church of St. Anny is listed as a national cultural monument.

To the left of the cathedral of St. Wenceslas is closely adjoined the chapel of St. Anne. Initially, the chapel was built in the style of early Gothic and is dedicated to St. John the Baptist. The uniqueness of the chapel is that in the 14th century a valuable Przemysl reliquary with the hand of St. Anne was kept here, which gave it special significance. In this connection, it becomes clear why the elections of Olomouc bishops and archbishops took place here. In the early 17th century, the chapel was rebuilt in the style of Monierism and preserved in this form to the present day.
