A unique location of this church oversees the river Radbuza and sits in the middle of a historic cemetery, thus having some of Pilsen ´s most honorable personalities at its immediate proximity. The church - rarely in the district - gathers christians under the Greek Catholic liturgy. Though hidden from the main area of the Nicolaus square, precisely this church gave name to the large mall stretching across the main road between two large secondary school lyceeums.

The dominant feature of the surroundings, which gave its name to the whole square. A walk along the river forms a romantic backdrop. I only remind you because this church is a landmark. There is another under the cemetery and visitors to the city confuse them!

The Church of St. Nicholas in Pilsen is the dominant feature of the St. Nicholas Cemetery, but it is currently inaccessible. However, it dominates the river Radbůza. Along the cemetery wall, newly built stairs connect Radbůza od Andělíček with Mikulášský náměstí. It is a pity that the project did not think of mothers with prams and wheelchairs.

There is still something to do, just under reconstruction .. but the church really did history ... St. Nicholas Church is a church in Pilsen. It was founded in 1406 on the historic fortress Mitrvald of the Lords of Litice. A significant change occurred in 1599, when the presbytery and the Chapel of Sts. Anny. Further modifications of the church were made in the Baroque period in 1739–1744, when a new portal and a nave were built. Even in the 19th century the church remained unchanged. The last modification included the completion of the sacristy.

The cemetery church of St. Nicholas (Chrám svatého Mikuláše), built in 1406, is located on the southwestern edge of the old Pilsen cemetery. Unfortunately, it presents itself today almost always locked and the other in a rather dilapidated state. Pity!
