The Church of St. Margaret is the dominant feature of the town of Kašperská hora, and it is a Gothic three-nave basilica from the middle of the 14th century.

The church was founded in the second half of the 14th century as a Gothic basilica and was originally dedicated to St. Linhart. It is a three-nave temple with one tower in the facade, a long presbytery with a pentagonal finish and external backrests. After the fire in 1773, the main nave was given a barrel vault, the vaults in the nave are cross-ribbed. After a fire in 1863, a new tower was built in 1883 and the exterior was adapted in the Neo-Gothic style.
